COMPUTER FORENSIC ANALYST
Computer Forensic Engineer is a professional position responsible for management of multiple, moderate to complex cases involving electronic forensic investigations and risk control analysis.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform computer forensic services, including digital evidence acquisition, preservation, analysis, data recovery, tape recovery, electronic mail extraction, and database examination
  • Provide technology services to enhance forensic engagements
  • Research and implement current computer forensic technology and methodologies
  • Conduct online investigations, including piercing the anonymity of internet actors through the use of various research tools and online applications
Job Qualifications Required
  • Two to five years of experience in computer forensics and technical investigations
  • Possess EnCE certification (or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with PC hardware and networking
  • Proficiency with UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Proficiency with FAT32, NTFS, and EXT2/3 file systems
  • Proficiency with MS Exchange and Lotus Notes
  • Proficiency with computer forensic methodologies and protocols
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong problem solving skills
Additional Preferences Desired
  • Experience teaching any subject matter
  • Experience with public speaking
  • Experience working in a non-computer related field
